Fullerians climbed to sixth in the London One North with a bonus-point 37-32 win over Diss at Coningesby Drive on Saturday.
The Fullers began the brighter, putting their visitors on the back-foot from the off, and Dom Toon crashed over from close range to quantify their dominance, before Dan Evans converted.
Diss’ start was slow but they converted a couple of penalties to put them back within a point, and then took the lead through a try of their own.
Fullers edged back in front as the game ebbed and flowed and were indebted to Liam Mann’s score and another from Tom Fawssett, who ran from his own 22 to score a fine solo try and halt Diss’ momentum.
That said, the visitors did not lie down and another couple of tries kept the game alive, before captain George Harvey added a bonus-point score for Fullers.
A conversion and two more penalties put some breathing space between the two teams, before Craig South added a fifth try to seal victory which was again excellently converted by Evans.
Fullers travel to second-placed Brentwood tomorrow.
