Stefano Okaka’s brother Carlo, who also acts as the player’s agent, has revealed the Watford striker would be open to a move to France.
Marseille have been linked with the Hornets striker, who has had to make do with a bit-part role this season and made just six appearances so far.
Carlo revealed to French media outlets that the interest from the Ligue 1 side is genuine and Okaka would be interested in a move to France.
“The interest from OM? It’s a bit early to talk about Marseille. Stefano’s desire during this transfer window is to do what he likes, play football,” he said.
“Ligue 1 is a very good competition, with many good clubs at the highest level. So yes, we are interested to go to France.”
Okaka has already gone public with his desire to play regular football and issued a come and get me plea to former Watford boss Walter Mazzarri yesterday.
