Heurelho Gomes has been nominated for Goalkeeper of the Year at the 2018 London Football Awards.
The awards honour the best players the capital has to offer and sees seven gongs handed out to players, managers and charitable organisations.
Thibaut Courtois (Chelsea), Hugo Lloris (Tottenham Hotspur), Adrian (West Ham United) and Daniel Bentley (Brentford) will provide competition to Gomes for the gong.
Watford’s Brazilian number one remains an integral part of the Vicarage Road club’s starting XI despite approaching his 37th birthday.
Gomes, who is currently side-lined with a back problem, has made 25 appearances this season and carried on his strong form from the 2016/17 campaign.
His performances were enough to see him named Players’ Player of the Year at Watford’s end of season awards last May.
The London Football Awards ceremony takes place at Battersea Evolution on Thursday, March 1.
