There were a lot of the similarities with the game against Everton a week before and the outcome was the same - a Troy Deeney goal gave Watford a 1-0 win to extend 100 per cent Premier League record at Vicarage Road since taking over at the Hornets helm.
As with the victory against the Toffees, Watford's triumph over West Bromwich Albion wasn't particularly attractive, but it means they have now taken 10 points in five games under Gracia to move to ninth in the table.
The win was also a reward for those volunteers who gathered at Vicarage Road in the morning to help clear the stadium of snow and ensure the game could go ahead.
