Ken Sema has spoken about the challenges of adapting to the frenetic pace of the Premier League.
The summer signing has been used as an impact player from the bench since joining the club with his sole start coming in a 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Reading.
Having played in Sweden for the entirety of his career before moving to Vicarage Road, Sema was always likely to face a tough task adapting to English football.
The 24-year-old admits to experiencing a learning curve but says he is enjoying his time with the Hornets.
Sema said: “It hurts, it does. You are not really used to it. When I played in Sweden, I had so much. I felt very powerful, fast and physical.
“When I came to the Premier League, I’m in the crowd and I see it as a fan. The Premier League is fast and is always played at 100 per cent in everything you do.
“It is fun, I’m ready for it. I’ve been fighting for a long time to come here.”
Sema is currently one of seven Watford players away on international duty and will hope to be involved in matches against Austria and Turkey.
