Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure has described Paul Pogba as a ‘show off’ and expects the Manchester United star to play an important role at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

Doucoure is likely to face off with Pogba in the Premier League clash, with the battle in the centre of the park always a pivotal one.

Pogba has taken plenty of criticism this season, but Doucoure believes his compatriot is a player with plenty of talent.

Doucoure knows better than most the threat posed by United's number six having played with him at various youth levels for France.

The Watford midfielder speaks of a player blessed with natural talents who is not averse to taking centre stage.

"I played with Pogba since the Under-16s with France. Physically he was the same as today and he was ahead of everyone else," Doucoure said.

"He grew up when he went to Italy and has done very good things in England. He is a very good player for United and we need to be aware of him.

"He liked to show off, but is a very nice guy and always very natural. Today he is in a different dimension and I think he is a real superstar now."
