Troy Deeney is a doubt for Watford’s Premier League clash with Huddersfield Town at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

The Watford skipper has been training away from the first-team as he continuous to recover from the hamstring complaint which kept him out of the 2-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

Nathaniel Chalobah, who is struggling with a knee injury, has also not been involved with full training.

Gracia is, therefore, unsure whether either will be available to play when the Terriers arrive at Vicarage Road.

“In Troy Deeney and Nathaniel Chalobah we have two players who are working away from the team and we will have to see if they can help us or not,” Gracia said.

“I have doubts if Troy will be back, he is in the same process of recovery from the original injury and I do not know if he will be available or not.

“Chalobah had a little pain in his knee the day after returning from England and has a small ligament problem. I am confident if he is not available for this game he will be for the next one.”

Gracia also confirmed Sebastian Prodl, who limped off after coming on as a substitute at Molineux, will miss the game with Huddersfield.

The Austrian centre-back joins Daryl Janmaat and Tom Cleverley in being certain to miss the game.

Gracia will be able to call upon a Watford squad which is firing on all other cylinders, with the Spaniard’s players in good form.
