Javi Gracia says the form of his entire Watford squad is giving him a selection headache ahead of the visit Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

Watford’s last outing saw Gracia shuffle his pack in the league as he departed from the 4-4-2 formation he had stuck to previously.

He was also rewarded for the the confidence he showed in his squad players as the likes of Adam Masina, Adrian Mariappa and Isaac Success all performed well at Molineux.

The performance on the road has given Gracia more than a grain of food for thought, but he is happy to have a selection headache.

He is also convinced those who do not start will be able to make an impact from the bench.

He said: “I am confident in all the players and the problem for me is that I have to choose only 11 to start the game.

“I think the players can feel that I trust them and if they do not start they can make an impact later.

“For example, Andre Gray in the last game, the time he played he did very well.

“That is the attitude the players need to have. They need to do the best with the time they get and think what is best for the team.”

Watford’s return to winning ways against Wolves has renewed confidence around Vicarage Road after a run of five games without a win and Gracia says his squad is in high spirits.

He said: “In this moment we are happy not only with the win but the way we played as well.

“The players are really happy to be back winning after the hard game at home against Bournemouth and to play well was the best thing to happen.”
