Watford have confirmed that striker Jerome Sinclair has joined Oxford United on loan for the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old returned to the club earlier this month after scoring just one goal during a loan spell at Sunderland.

U’s boss Karl Robinson told their club website: “He is a player with so much potential. He has pace and a fantastic pedigree and will certainly strengthen us up front. He has been one of our key targets for a while and will go straight into the squad for Burton away on Saturday.”

Sinclair could be ready for Oxford’s trip to Burton Albion this coming Saturday.
