Watford are leading the charge to sign Porto winger Yacine Brahimi this summer, according to reports.
It is believed that Serie A giants Inter Milan have also been offered the chance to sign the player on a free, with his contract due to expire this summer.
However, Inter are not thought to be prioritising the Algerian and Watford may be able to offer a deal first.
The reports claim that Brahimi is attracting a lot of interest from the Premier League, but that the Hornets are currently in pole position to sign him.
The 28-year-old has nine goals and eight assists to his name this season and was reportedly close to join Everton the season before last.
