Watford will take winning momentum into Sunday's FA Cup semi-final after a strong second-half performance inflicted a 4-1 defeat on Fulham and condemned them to an immediate return to the Championship.

Despite taking the lead through Abdoulaye Doucoure's second goal in successive games, the Hornets were poor for much of the first half and the Cottagers were deservedly level at the break through Ryan Babel's equaliser.

However, Javi Gracia's decision to change formation and personnel at the break had the desired effect in the second half after Will Hughes had got the Hornets' noses in front in stunning fashion with a volley from the edge of the penalty area.

Troy Deeney made it 3-1 after being set-up by Andre Gray and the impressive substitute was soon turning supplier again for Kiko Femenia to add a fourth.

Here are a selection of images from a victory that leaves the Hornets in good shape for their trip to Wembley.
