Eight students from Croxley Green’s Rusty Taekwondo took part in the TAGB National Taekwondo Championships at the weekend amongst 250 competitors.
Olivia Murphy and Ty lesser brought home gold medals, Cyan Vaughan secured a silver and there were bronzes for Emily Lloyd and Rae Thompson.
Eliya Sandilands and Nya Vaughan narrowly missed out on bronze medals in the pattern competitions.
This included a combination of taekwondo patters and full-contact sparring.
Coach and club owner Russell Lesser said: “At such a young age, they all took to the competition with great confidence and good discipline, showing all the skills they have learnt. I am extremely proud of each and every one of them and this helps develop their self-esteem, which is great.”
