Langleybury Cricket Club finished their season with a 6-1 defeat against The Engineer Harpenden in Pool A of the Watford Peace Memorial Challenge Shield.

Rob Walker struck twice while there were also goals for Jack Cartwright, John Spring, Tom Warren and Colin Arnsby.

Engineer now move into the semi-finals where who they play will be determined by the result of their last Pool game against Hemel Hempstead Rovers this Saturday.

In Pool B, Bovingdon A are on the verge of going out after a 2-2 draw against Croxley Community in a game they realistically had to win.

Unless Croxley lose heavily this weekend against leaders Caddington, they will go out.

Sun Sports Rovers moved into the final of the West Herts Junior Cup courtesy of a last-minute winner against Harpenden Rovers Reserves.

Antony Macey scored a brace for Sun, with Glen Cook adding a third, while Matt Brazier and Ben Gull replied for Rovers.

Sun will face Potten End in the final of the competition to be held on Tuesday, April 9 at Hemel Hempstead Town FC, with kick off at 7.30pm.

Ollie Butler and Adam Rolfe scored the all-important goals for Tring Athletic A in their game under the lights against Kings Sports in the West Herts Premier Division.

Kings held their own for much of they game but were eventually overpowered by the two goals that won it for Tring.

Potten End hosted Global AFC in Division One knowing that a win would close the gap on leaders Tring Town AFC to just three points.

Jamie Hickman’s wonderful solo goal gave Potten the lead and another goal followed soon after when Drew Duggan converted Ricky Weymouth’s excellent cross.

The hosts continued to dominate in the second half and another Duggan strike from a Weymouth assist added their third, his 30th goal of the season.

Tring Corinthians Reserves remain in third after a narrow 3-2 win over Hunton Bridge.

Connor Hearn gave Tring the lead before Hunton turned it around to lead 2-1.

Hearn headed a second to equalise with 12 minutes to play, and then three minutes from time Artiom Barinov netted the winner from a free-kick.

Croxley Community Reserves stay in fourth after a 6-0 win over Oxhey Academy, and Hemel Hempstead Rovers Reserves battled to a 2-2 draw against Oxhey A, with Michael Moloney hitting a brace for Rovers Sean Mackey and Chris Monastiriotis netting for Oxhey.
