Brazilian striker Joao Pedro's family were in Watford on Monday to visit the club where he will be playing from January onwards.
The 17-year-old has been impressing in Brazil with Fluminense this season where he has hit a rich vain of form, scoring eight goals in his last eight matches, including a hat-trick against Atletico Nacional and a stunning bicycle kick against Cruzeiro.
The striker has agreed to join the Hornets after he turns 18 and is currently scheduled to arrive in Hertfordshire in January.
His mother, Flavia, and step-dad Carlos, paid a visit to Watford on Monday to see where Joao Pedro will be plying his trade come the end of next season.
Flavia apparently even tried to speak to her son via video chat, but was unable to as he was training.
Joao Pedro has recently told reporters from Fox Sports Brasil that he is looking forward to the switch and has started preparing for life in England.
"It's quite difficult for me to balance English classes and the championships, but every time I have a free time, I try to study, so in the future I can speak English," he said.
"I'm very happy all these things are happening to me."
