Watford defender Pervis Estupiñán has joined Osasuna on loan for two years, the Spanish club has confirmed.

The left back spent last season on loan with RCD Mallorca and helped them earn promotion from the Segunda Devision to La Liga.

The deal agreed between the two sides will keep Estupiñán with the club until June 30, 2021, but the Hornets do have an option to call the player back after one season, should they wish.

The 21-year-old joined Watford from LDU Quito in 2016, but has since spent time on loan in Spain with Granada and Almeria before last season's temporary switch to Mallorca.

He has four goals from nine international appearances with Ecuador Under-20s and is expected to be revealed in the coming days, following a medical.
