Turkish Superlig champions Galatasaray are interested in signing Stefano Okaka, but Watford's valuation of the player could be a stumbling block, the Watford Observer has been told.

The 29-year-old spent half of last season on loan at Udinese where he scored six goals in 16 games.

It is believed the Italian is likely to move on this summer and Galatasaray have been heavily linked.

The Turkish side are understood to be planning an offer of around £2.5 million, but the Hornets' valuation of the player is thought to be higher, with two years still remaining on his current contract.
