Leganes have opened up talks with Watford about the possibility of taking Marc Navarro on loan, the Watford Observer understands.
Navarro almost made the switch to Leganes during the January transfer window, but a deal could not be completed because the Spanish club were unable to move on former Watford defender Juanfran to make space in their squad.
Interest in the move has since been renewed this summer and Leganes have begun discussions with the Hornets in a bid to bring the player to Spain.
It is believed they have asked about the possibility of taking the player on loan for one season, with the addition of an option to buy.
