THIS year's Watford Observer MET Linden Homes Cricket Knockout Competition gets under way this week, with all teams scheduled to play their matches by the Friday, May 24, deadline, weather permitting.

On Wednesday, May 22, Parkfield take on Met Police, but the venue has been switched to Met Police's ground.

A change of venue also sees Old Centralians entertain Watford Haidery.

There are three matches the following day, with Langleybury B at home to Clarendon, Abbots Langley entertaining Chiltern, and Aldenham hosting Rising Stars.

The first round draw will be completed on Friday, May 24, when The Unicorn take on Langlebury A.

Meanwhile, following Northchurch's decision to withdraw from the competition, their scheduled second round opponents, Old Merchant Taylors, have been given a bye through to the quarter-finals.
