THE opening match of this year's The Watford Observer MET Linden Homes Cricket Knockout Competition has been called off.
Watford Haidery and Old Centralians were due to meet tonight (Wednesday, May 22), but the first round game has had to be postponed because of the weather.
The organising committee have given the clubs permission to try and re-arrange the match for early next week, even though it is after the deadline for completion of round one fixtures.
