Watford's quest for Premier League survival suffered another setback as they threw away a two goal cushion to be beaten at home by Everton on Saturday.

Here's how we rated their individual performances.

Ben Foster - 5

Didn't have a great deal to do with Everton only managing five shots on target, but was not helped by his defenders. Perhaps guilty of over-committing for the third goal.

Adrian Mariappa - 5

Didn't look as comfortable at right-back as he has in recent weeks and Everton managed to get in behind him on several occasions.

Craig Cathcart - 4

Feeble defending for the two goals in the first-half for which he allowed Yerry Mina to get the better of him far too easily.

Christian Kabasele - 6

Spent a lot of time fighting fires at the back and made some important interceptions, blocks and clearances.

Adam Masina - 6

After a solid first-half in which he opened the scoring, a different player emerged for the second. Lost the ball for the winning goal and was unable to get back and prevent Theo Walcott from scoring.

Nathaniel Chalobah - 6

Looked good for the most part while he was on the pitch. Contributed in defence and helped build attacks from the back. The team lost some of their shape and control after he departed.

Etienne Capoue - 5

Played a great pass to help set up the first goal, but went off the boil after half-time.

Abdoulaye Doucoure - 5

Another who had the stuffing knocked out of them by the two late first-half goals. Was ineffective after the break and looked lost after the head coach's changes in tactics.

Gerard Deulofeu - 5

Two shots on target hints at a team lacking creativity once again and while he set up the opening goal well, he did little else. Dallied in possession once again and made some poor decisions.

Roberto Pereyra - 6

Started the game well and took his goal with aplomb, but lost his way and quickly became anonymous in the second-half.

Troy Deeney - 5

Played a neat ball into Pereyra for the second goal, but struggled to hold the ball up and bring the wide men into the game. Another player culpable for a poor showing in front of goal.

Substitutes

Danny Welbeck - 5

Good to see him back in a Watford shirt, but there's a lot of work to be done based on today's match. Struggled to make any discernible impact.

Isaac Success - 4

Got booked three minutes after coming on for a lazy challenge, lost the ball frequently and, while it may not have been his fault, his introduction seemed to cause confusion among the team, who looked like they weren't exactly sure what formation to be playing in.

Ignacio Pussetto - N/A

Joined the game too late to make an impact.
