Watford stumbled in their search for Premier League safety away at West Ham United, losing 3-1 in what could be a hugely important result.

Three first-half goals were too much for the Hornets to overcome and they have it all to do now in the final week of the season against Manchester City and Arsenal.

Here's how we rated their performances.

Ben Foster - 5

Made a couple of smart stops and couldn't do a lot to prevent two of the three goals. Will feel annoyed to have let the first slip through his legs however.

Kiko Femenia - 3

Was far too weak for the second goal and lost possession cheaply throughout. Foster could be regularly heard shouting angrily at the defender.

Craig Dawson - 4

Almost scored at the end of the first-half. Almost is not good enough however. Neither is conceding three goals in the first-half.

Christian Kabasele - 4

Was no better or worse than Dawson, but clearly didn't have a great match. Almost gifted Sebastian Haller with a goal as well.

Adam Masina - 3

Was beaten easily on the left by Jarrod Bowen, so much so that Nigel Pearson felt he'd seen enough by half-time and took him off.

Will Hughes - 5.5

A much improved second-half after an anonymous first saw Hughes battle and at least try and take the game to the visitors. Still far from his best, however.

Tom Cleverley - 5

Looked to have at least some creativity, with one or two good passes through to Sarr. End product was lacking however.

Abdoulaye Doucoure - 4.5

Another who looked better after the break, which is hardly surprising considering he barely touched the ball before it. Did well in the build up to the goal, however.

Danny Welbeck - 5

Squandered a big chance at the end and never looked like giving Fabianski much to worry about.

Ismaila Sarr -  5.5

Did a lot of running and looked most likely to create something, but again was let down by people not committing to get on the end of his crosses. However, he also should be picking his head up a lot more.

Troy Deeney - 5

Took his goal well, but didn't do a great deal else. His "grumbly" knee forced him off midway through the second-half.

Substitutes:

Adrian Mariappa - 5

The team looked more balanced with him on the pitch, but West Ham had taken their foot off the gas somewhat after the break.

Andre Gray - 4

Didn't make much of a lasting impression after coming off the bench. Tried one cross that was poorly hit and went miles away from anyone.

Nathaniel Chalobah - 5

Scrapped a bit in the centre, but by the time he arrived the game was all but gone.

Joao Pedro - N/A

Arrived too late to make an impact.
