Etienne Capoue is continuing to be linked with a potential reunion with Javi Gracia at Valencia.
There are expected to be departures from Vicarage Road following Watford’s relegation from the Premier League and reports in the Spanish media claim the midfielder could again link up with the former Hornets head coach.
Reports suggest discussions have taken place over a potential two-year deal for the 32-year-old Frenchman.
Capoue joined Watford from Tottenham Hotspur in 2015 and he has gone on to establish himself as a vital cog in the midfield engine room, making 30 top-flight appearances last season.
Gracia was appointed at Valencia in July, having been sacked by the Hornets four games after the start of the 2019/20 campaign.
