Talks between Watford and Everton regarding the sale of Abdoulaye Doucoure continue as the Toffees remain interested in sealing a deal for the midfielder.
The 27-year-old is likely to move on this summer following the Hornets' relegation, but staying in the Premier League is believed to be the midfielder's preferred option.
AS Monaco are also interested in Doucoure and have reportedly tabled an offer, but the player has agreed personal terms with Everton and will hope that the clubs can come to an agreement.
Currently, the two sides remain divided on their valuation, with the Hornets believed to want more than £20million.
The Toffees have already failed with a bid for Doucoure this summer and will need to improve their offer should they wish to bring him to Goodison Park.
Fulham are also believed to be interested.
