Colchester have signed striker Michael Folivi following his summer release by Watford.
The 22-year-old, who enjoyed a loan spell at AFC Wimbledon last season, has been training with the U’s for the past few weeks.
Folivi, who should be available to face Stevenage on Tuesday night, reunites with his former Watford Under-23s coach Hayden Mullins, who is Colchester’s assistant head coach.
The striker also spent time on loan at Coventry and Boreham Wood.
He made one just senior appearance for the Hornets, coming off the bench for nine minutes in a 2-0 Premier League defeat to Stoke in 2017.
