Joao Pedro is looking forward to having Watford supporters back at Vicarage Road this Saturday when they face Cardiff City.

2,000 fans will be in attendance for the home match this weekend following the lifting of the national lockdown.

With Hertfordshire placed under tier 2 restrictions, the stadium is permitted to host a handful of supporters, which could be increased to 4,000 following a review on December 16.

Speaking after the win over Preston at the weekend, Pedro said the fans could help the club in their quest to get promoted.

"I'm very happy about it because honestly they are the ones who motivate us during the game," said the Brazilian. "I'm happy to have them back because they can push us through to get some big results."

Pedro is also looking forward to showing the fans what he can do in person, after racing off to a great start this season.

Watford Observer:

After opening his account with the winning goal in the derby against Luton, he has gone on to add four more to his tally, including one more at the weekend as the Hornets cruised past Preston to climb up to third in the table.

"I'm adapting very quickly to the new football," he said. "Obviously it's really different to the Brazilian game, but I'm happy with the way I'm playing, and obviously I'm learning everyday, so let's see what's happens."
