Vladimir Ivic offered a brief injury update following Watford's 2-0 win over Rotherham United at Vicarage Road last night.

Etienne Capoue was missing from his matchday squad, despite coming off the bench in the defeat to Cardiff on Saturday, while Glenn Murray has been absent for quite some time.

With Craig Cathcart still expected to miss Saturday's trip to Birmingham, along with Andre Gray, the head coach said he could expect others to be back soon.

"Glenn is still out but he's starting to work now with us," said Ivic. "I believe that he will be available from the next next game to be in the squad.

Watford Observer:

"[Capoue] obviously he came back on the bench, but he wasn't in the squad, he couldn't play because he has some small problem and I believe that he'll be with us, maybe from the next game on Saturday."

One player who could be set to make an appearance at the beginning of next year is striker Isaac Success, who is back in light training after recovering from a ruptured Achilles.

The Nigerian spoke to the club website ahead of last night's match, saying it was time for him to deliver after what he feels has been a disappointing spell with the club so far.

"Sometimes I feel disappointed with myself as I've got the qualities and everything a forward player will need,” he said.

Watford Observer:

“I need to do the right things and wait for my chance. I think I've got lots to offer the team. It's been disappointing not getting the chance [over the years] and being injured a couple of times when it was time for me to explode.

“I just need to keep working as there is so much more to come. It's time for me to deliver for the team and the fans as they have been waiting too long. The wait is now over.”
