Watford's out on loan winger Ignacio Pussetto has damaged his anterior cruciate ligament while playing against Juventus for Udinese.
The Argentine returned to Udinese on loan after joining Watford from the Serie A side last January.
The club announced the injury in a statement on their website that also revealed the player would be travelling to Rome for further evaluation.
“Udinese Calcio announce that, following the sprain in his right knee suffered in the match against Juventus, Ignacio Pussetto was subjected to the usual checks which confirmed the involvement of the anterior cruciate ligament,” the club wrote.
“The player will be in Rome tomorrow and will be evaluated by Professor Mariani at the Villa Stuart clinic.”
