Watford have confirmed the signing of former Newcastle United defender Achraf Lazaar for the rest of the season.
The club has an option to extend his deal by a further year at the end of the current campaign.
The Moroccan defender was released by the Magpies during the January transfer window and has been on the lookout for a new club since.
He was part of the Newcastle squad that won the Championship in 2016/17 and will become the third former Newcastle player to join the Hornets this season after goalkeeper Rob Elliot and midfielder Dan Gosling also arrived.
He also has Championship experience with Sheffield Wednesday.
He will wear number 17.
✍️ We are pleased to confirm the signing of Moroccan international left-back @LazaarAchraf on a contract until the end of the season, with the club holding an option of a further year.
