Joao Pedro's penalty against Preston North End saw Watford pick up back-to-back wins with their fourth away victory of the campaign.

Here's how we rated their individual displays.

Daniel Bachmann - 6.5

Another quiet night for the keeper, but he did everything he needed to.

Kiko Femenia - 7

Got forward and contributed well in attack. Put in plenty of good crosses, but Preston defended well throughout.

Francisco Sierralta - 6.5

Twice lost track of Ched Evans in the first half and was fortunate not to have been punished. Settled into the game a bit more after that however.

Craig Cathcart - 7

A solid return to the first XI. Looked calm and assured throughout.

Adam Masina - 7

Played an important part in the goal and played well up and down the left hand side.

Will Hughes - 7.5

Passed the ball well, but was also up for the battle in the centre.

Nathaniel Chalobah - 7.5

Looked crafty in and around the box in the first half, but also pitched in with the ugly work.

Tom Cleverley - 8

Looked creative in the first half, never gave up and always looked in control.

Ken Sema - 7

Did well to contribute to the goal in the way he did, but he struggled to create in the face of Preston's defenders.

Ismaila Sarr - 6.5

After the highs of Saturday, Sarr also had a difficult time with the robust North End defence. It's unlikely to be the last time this season he will come up against players like that, so will need to be stronger in the future.

Joao Pedro - 8

Did so well to win the penalty and drilled it in with great aplomb. Another good night for the Brazilian.

Substitutes

Dan Gosling - 6.5

Looked good after coming on, could be a useful addition as the season continues.

Philip Zinckernagel - N/A

Stipe Perica - N/A

Players must have played for more than 15 minutes to receive a rating.
