Xisco Munoz could soon have a selection dilemma on his hands after goalkeeper Ben Foster returned to full team training.

Foster broke his finger earlier in the season and has been out of action since January.

However, in his absence, Daniel Bachmann has taken over shot-stopper duties and has claimed eight clean sheets.

Whether or not Foster is brought back into the side or not is for the head coach to decide in the coming weeks.

For this week at least, however Munoz has confirmed that Bachmann will be starting but said Foster may be in the squad.

"Saturday I will play Danny," he said. "Ben has started training with us and we will see if he's prepared to come in the squad."

Elsewhere, Dan Gosling and Achraf Lazaar are both set for late fitness tests ahead of this weekend's trip to Cardiff City as they recover from hamstring strains.

Tom Cleverley is still targeting a return after the international break, while the club also confirmed there was no scheduled return date yet for captain Troy Deeney following his achilles tendon damage.

Christian Kabasele remains out with his knee injury but is nearing a return to training.

Tom Dele-Bashiru and Dan Philips are both still unavailable.

Nathaniel Chalobah could come back into the side this weekend after his two match suspension.
