Watford's chances of becoming Championship champions were ended at Brentford with a 2-0 defeat.

Here's how we rated their individual displays.

Daniel Bachmann - 6

Couldn't have done much to keep the two goals out. Was left exposed.

Craig Cathcart - 5

Was beaten easily in the build up to the first goal, but didn't do too badly otherwise.

Francisco Sierralta - 5

Lacked the focus he usually shows, got lured into giving away a penalty and got involved with far too many off the ball incidents.

Christian Kabasele - 6

Defended quite well on his return, wasn't really at fault for either goal.

Adam Masina - 6.5

Was one positive player for Watford going forward. Made some decent passes to try and switch the play and set up attacks.

Will Hughes - 5.5

Battled quite well off the ball but struggled to create a lot on it. Off the boil.

Tom Cleverley - 5

Perhaps shouldn't have been risked - went off injured after struggling to get into the match. Not his day.

Dan Gosling - 6

Got into some good positions again and looked dangerous with his late runs into the box. Should have opened the scoring early on.

Joseph Hungbo - 6.5

Looked like he could be a real threat before he was unfortunately forced off with an injury.

Ken Sema - 5

Didn't offer a lot to be honest.

Andre Gray - 5

Held the ball up well on occasion but is still clearly struggling with confidence.

SUBS

Philip Zinckernagel - 5

Struggled to get into the game after coming on as a substitute.
