Watford goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann has been called up for Austria's provisional Euro 2020 squad.

The Hornets shot-stopper joins teammate Ken Sema, who yesterday found out he would be representing Sweden at the tournament.

Ahead of their games against North Macedonia, Ukraine and the Netherlands, Austria will face England and Slovakia in pre-competition friendlies.

Bachmann has been an important part of Watford's success this season, keeping 14 clean sheets from 26 appearances in all competitions and making himself number one choice after Ben Foster's broken finger midway through the campaign.

Despite being called up for the last round of international fixtures, Bachmann is still yet to make his senior international debut for Austria.

He previously made 16 appearances at Under 21 level.
