Watford FC Women have snapped up two new players to bolster the squad ahead of the coming Women’s Championship season.

Joining the side are 19-year-old defender Ylenia 'Lenny' Priest and 28-year-old attacking midfielder Amber-Keegan Stobbs.

Priest, a promising centre-back, joins from London City Lionesses after a strong season in which her team finished sixth the Championship.

She made her debut in the division aged 17 and last season marshalled the Lionesses’ defence, only conceding three more goals than champions Leicester.

Experience attacked Stobbs joins the Golden Girls after making 17 appearances for fellow Championship side Crystal Palace last season.

The playmaker adds valuable experience to the newly-promoted squad, having played at Reading, Everton, West Ham and Charlton before joining Crystal Palace.
