Juraj Kucka is ready to make himself a utility player at Watford this season, as he edges closer to achieving his dream of playing in the Premier League.

The Slovak midfielder has plenty of experience from years spent playing in Italy, Turkey and in his home nation.

In his first club interview, he claims he is capable of fitting in almost anywhere and said he will do what he can for his new side.

"It doesn’t matter which position, I’m able to play as a striker, midfielder, or in the centre of defence,” said Kucka.

“In Parma I changed to many positions. Wherever the coach puts me, I will try to do my best.

“I have played in Italy and for the national team for many years. I have good experience and I will try to help the guys."

At the age of 34, the midfielder might have thought his chance to play in the English top flight would never come.

However, after signing a two-year deal at Vicarage Road, he says he is ready to make the most of his opportunity.

“I am very happy because it was my dream to play in the Premier League and in England," he said.

"I am very excited and I’m ready to fight for Watford. I’ll always give my maximum on the pitch. I always fight for the team and my teammates.”
