Watford will face Crystal Palace at home in round two of the Carabao Cup this year.
The draw took place following the conclusion of Leyton Orient's Round One clash against Queens Park Rangers this evening.
Matches are scheduled to take place on the week commencing August 23.
Last season the Hornets were knocked out of the competition at the third round stage away at Newport County, after beating Oxford United in round two.
They last faced the Eagles last weekend in a pre-season friendly at Selhurst Park, in which they were beaten 3-1.
