Watford winger Joseph Hungbo is set to join Ross County on loan for the remainder of the season after extending his contract by two years.

The 21-year-old made five first team appearances from the substitute's bench in the Championship last season following a loan move to Aldershot Town.

He is now set to link up with former Watford player and manager Malky Mackay in the Scottish Premiership after an agreement was reached between the two sides.

Hungbo impressed after returning from his temporary move last season and has had his contract extended until 2024.

The Hornets can recall the player in January should they wish to do so, while there is understood to be no option for County to buy the player at the end of the campaign.
