Will Hughes has thanked the Watford fans and his teammates after completing his move to Crystal Palace.
In a statement, posted to his social media channels, the midfielder said he had given his all for the club and would look back on his time as a Hornet with fondness.
The statement reads: "My time has come to say goodbye to Watford, where I've spent 4 brilliant years with some incredible highs. I gave my all for the club and I'll look back on my time here
with great fondness!
"A massive thank you to the fans who made me feel at home from day one, it was a pleasure to be part of the journey with you.
"To the backroom staff, thank you for everything you did for me behind the
scenes.
"And finally, to my team mates who I've shared the pitch with over the last few years - it was a privilege to play alongside you. I'd like to wish all the lads, staff and fans the
best of luck for the future."
