Peter Bankes will referee Watford's game against Wolverhampton Wanderers when the Premier League returns this weekend.
This will be Bankes' first visit to Vicarage Road as an official and his first game involving the Hornets.
He officiated five of Wolves' matches in the 2019/20 season, when he first became a regular referee at top flight level.
So far this season he has only refereed one Premier League game, which was Aston Villa's 1-1 draw with Brentford.
He has also been in charge of two Europa Conference League matches, between CSKA Sofia and Dag Liepaja and Milsami Orhei and Elfsborg.
From those three matches, he has shown 14 yellow cards.
