ROB Jones will be the man in the middle for Watford's Premier League trip to play bottom club Norwich City, on Saturday.
The Merseyside-based official has been appointed referee for the Hornets' visit to Carrow Road, this weekend.
Jones has so far taken charge of one game this season, the Premier League clash between Norwich and Leicester City, on August 28.
The Foxes ran out 2-1 winners.
Jones had a rapid rise through the refereeing pyramid and was promoted to Select Group 1 ahead of the 2020-21 season.
He started officiating in the Football League in the 2016-17 season, having previously presided over matches in the National League and the Women’s Super League.
Graham Scott will be in charge of VAR, for the match.
Watford are looking to bounce back, following their 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Wolves, last weekend.
Xisco Munoz's side lie 15th in the table, after one win and three defeats so far.
