Former Watford head coach Xisco Munoz has been named manager of SD Huesca.
Reports emerged yesterday from various outlets in Spain suggesting that the 41-year-old was on the verge of being announced as the replacement for Nacho Ambriz, who was sacked on Monday after a 3-1 defeat to Burgos the day before.
Munoz's appointment has been announced by the Spanish club this afternoon.

Huesca are currently 12th in the Spanish Segunda Division and have now turned to Munoz to drive them up the table.
The Spaniard was something of a surprise package when he was announced as Watford boss in December 2020, despite having only managed 11 games in Georgia beforehand, but he guided the team back into the top flight at the first attempt before he was removed from his position after just seven matches this season.
He played in the Spanish second tier as a player with both Recreativo de Huelva and Levante.
