Watford defender Adam Masina will not be out for as long as first feared after scans revealed a minor thigh strain.
The left back had initially been expected to be out long term after going off after just 12 minutes against Chelsea last week.
However, further assessment has discovered that the problem is nothing serious.
That does increase the likelihood of him joining up with Morocco come the end of the month to participate in the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Elsewhere, the club have also confirmed that Ken Sema is back in team training, while Francisco Sierralta hopes to return to full training next week.
Ismaila Sarr, Peter Etebo, Nicolas Nkoulou and Kwadwo Baah all remain out with their respective long term injuries.
