Watford look set to be without Cucho Hernandez this weekend, with the Colombian "under evaluation" following his injury against Leeds United.
The attacker has not been involved in training this week, while the club continue to monitor his progress, after he was forced out of Saturday's match with what looked like a hamstring problem.
In the 39th minute of Watford's 3-0 home defeat to Leeds, Hernandez slumped to the ground holding the back of his leg, before he was replaced by Emmanuel Dennis.
Since then, the club has treated him with kid gloves, not wanting to exacerbate the issue.
Sources have this afternoon (Thursday) said that he has "an issue under evaluation" but could not say how long they expected it to affect him.
The Hornets host Brentford on Saturday afternoon at 3pm and are expected to provide a team update tomorrow.
