Watford striker Cucho Hernandez has received a call up to the Colombian national squad.

After scoring two goals on his international debut against Costa Rica in October 2018, Hernandez has made no further appearances for his country.

However, his performances for the Hornets this season have clearly impressed coach Hector Cardenas, who has recalled him for their upcoming friendly match.

In his first season playing at Vicarage Road, the forward scored five goals and provided three assists from a total of 28 appearances across all competitions.

Colombia will take on Saudi Arabia in a friendly in Murcia, Spain on June 5 and Hernandez has been selected as part of their squad.
