The big question of the summer – red shorts or black shorts – still hasn’t been answered...yet.

In fact, before the full home kit for next season is officially launched early in July, we’ll get to see the new training range as that will be released on or before June 20, when the players report back to London Colney for pre-season training.

The red/black shorts issue will be resolved early next month, when the home kit including the new goalkeeper kit is unveiled. The new home shirt was shown off before the last home game of the season and the club report a very positive reaction to the design.

The new away kit will be launched shortly before the first game of the new season.

Fixtures for next season will be announced at 9am on Thursday, June 23. The club are almost certainly not going to have a home pre-season friendly this summer, due to a combination of the preparation of the new pitch and the two Elton John concerts at Vicarage Road in early July.

Work is currently happening on the pre-season schedule, and it’s expected the first team squad will travel away for a training camp and possibly games too, although these will not be open to the public.
