Overseas fans can see the majority of Watford's games this season via the Hive Live service, while domestic supporters will have more limited streaming opportunities due to EFL rules.

With the vast majority of matches played behind closed doors in 2020/21, broadcast regulations were relaxed and UK-based supporters could watch a large number of fixtures as the Hornets secured promotion.

This time around, the club’s opportunities to stream video domestically (which includes UK, Republic of Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man) are reduced due to the reinstatement of the Saturday 3pm blackout which bars the live broadcast of domestic fixtures in this country.

However, Watford will still be able to bring live video coverage of occasional Championship games to domestic supporters via watfordfc.com and the club app. If you are an overseas fan, then you’ll be able to view the majority of Watford games via the club’s streaming service.

The Hive Live service will be reduced this season: there will be no pre-match programme, with coverage starting roughly 15 minutes before kick-off. The familiar voice of Jon Mark will provide commentary, with a special guest co-commentator. Generally matches will be filmed using four cameras.

Live video streaming passes will cost £10 per match for domestic and overseas supporters (fixed fee applicable across the EFL). Subscription packages will be available to overseas supporters, costing £140 (seasonal early bird rate, rising to £170 on September 1) and £25 (monthly).

There won’t be a free audio commentary service as EFL rules do not permit this. However an audio-only Hive Live subscription will be available for all Championship games domestically, costing £45 (seasonal) and £4.50 (monthly).
