Watford will be aiming to make it three wins out of three with James Linington in charge of one of their fixtures this season after he was appointed referee for Saturday’s short trip to Queens Park Rangers.

The official has been the man in the middle for 27 matches so far in the 2022/23 campaign and previously oversaw Watford’s 2-0 home win over Reading in November and the 1-0 victory at Norwich City in January.

Linington has shown a total of 106 yellow cards and four reds this season.
