Winger Kwadwo Baah will spend the rest of the 2023/24 season on loan at League One side Burton Albion.

The 20-year-old German Under-19 international moved to Vicarage Road from Rochdale in July 2021, but has never made a senior appearance.

Baah has been an unused sub five times for the Hornets, three times in the Premier League and twice in the League Cup – the most recent of those was the 2-1 defeat at Chelsea on the final day of the 2021/22 season.

Last term he was loaned to German side Fortuna Dusseldorf, where he made seven Bundesliga 2 appearances, all as substitute.

Baah did feature for Watford in the second half of their pre-season game at Boreham Wood.

Burton, managed by Dino Maamria, have lost all three of their league games so far this season, and sit 23rd in the table – only Wigan, who started the season on minus eight points are beneath.

Tomorrow Burton travel to face Wycombe Wanderers.
