Watford Under-21s fought back from 3-0 down after 35 minutes to earn a 4-4 draw away to Swansea earlier this afternoon and extend their unbeaten run to four games.

The young Hornets also trailed 4-3 as the game headed into the final 10 minutes but rallied again to grab a point in a thriller.

The draw means Watford stay fourth in the Premier League Development League South table, four points behind leaders QPR.

Sunderland 2 Watford Women 1 - match report

Swansea made the early running and Liam Walsh sent a volley just over before Watford keeper Gabriel Ortelli plucked a Kristian Fletcher cross off the head of Filip Lissah.

However, Kyrell Wilson put the hosts ahead after 13 minutes, and then struck again a quarter of an hour later to make it 2-0.

It was 3-0 when Liam Smith scored in the 35th minutes and the Hornets were staring down the barrel.

A goal from Jack Grieves three minutes before the interval gave Watford a route back into the game and they went into half-time with only a two-goal deficit to deal with.

Just three minutes after the restart Gyamfi struck his first of the game to make it 3-2, and only another three minutes had elapsed when Collins squared the game at 3-3.

With 20 minutes to go both Fletcher and Wilson had chances to put Swansea back in front, but they did make it 4-3 in the 74th minute with Wilson completing his hat-trick.

However Charlie Daniels’ sided dug deep and in the 79th minute Gyamfi netted again to earn a point.
