A trip to face holders West Ham could be the reward for Watford Under-18s in this season’s FA Youth Cup – if they can beat Manchester City in the Third Round.

The Fourth Round draw, which was made early to allow clubs to plan, has given the winners of the Watford v Man City Third Round tie (at Vicarage Road on December 19) an away game against West Ham or Southampton.

The Hammers beat Arsenal 5-1 in last season’s final.

Tickets are currently on sale for Watford’s game with City on Tuesday December 19, kick-off 7pm.

Season Ticket holders can gain complimentary access to this match by scanning their regular Season Ticket at the ticket readers adjacent to turnstiles 44-50 in the south-west corner of the stadium.

For non-season ticket holders it’s £5 for adults and £1 for 18 and Under.

Seating is in the Lower Graham Taylor Stand only, and is unreserved.

Watford reached the Fifth Round of last season’s competition, winning 3-0 at Lincoln City before a memorable 3-1 victory over Everton in round four.

Another upset looked on the cards when they took an early two-goal lead against Arsenal in the next round, but the eventual runners-up battled back to win 4-2 in front of more than 2,400 fans at Vicarage Road.

All of this year's Fourth Round ties must be played by January 20, 2024.

• One of Watford’s non-league neighbours, Hemel Hempstead Town, have had a tremendous run in the FA Youth Cup and a 5-2 win over Exeter City in the Second Round has earned them a Third Round trip to Sheffield Wednesday, which takes place at Hillsborough this Saturday at midday.

Should the Tudors cause another upset and beat the Owls, their reward in the Fourth Round would be a home tie against Reading or Rotherham.
