Boxing in Watford is set for one of its biggest nights when two fighters from the town will be in the global spotlight as they challenge for British titles next month.

Reece Bellotti will take on Liam Dillon for the British and Commonwealth Super-Featherweight crowns at Indigo and The 02 in London on Saturday, February 10, shown worldwide on DAZN.

Fellow Watford fighter Shannon Ryan will help create history on the same card when she takes on Emma Dolan in the first British Super-Flyweight title contest, with her Newark opponent's Commonwealth crown also on the line in their ten-round clash.

“Always stay ready!” said Bellotti. ”A brilliant opportunity has come up for me to win a title that I’ve dreamed of winning since I was a kid and I can’t wait.

“I plan on kicking 2024 off with a bang on February 10 and then kicking on from there. This has the potential to be a massive year for me. I’m absolutely buzzing, let’s go!”

The South Oxhey boxer will go into the bout off the back of three consecutive victories in 2022 and 2023, with the ‘Bomber’ winning the vacant Commonwealth Super-Featherweight title in his last outing when he stopped Aqib Fiaz in eight rounds at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.
